Danny Welbeck's fifth goal of the season arrived in the 26th minute when he received a quickly taken free kick from Jones and a one-two with Rooney saw him through on goal to convert his first goal at Old Trafford in 14 months.
The Englishman later turned provided as he set up teenage sensation, Januzaj, for his first goal at home. The youngster turned Collins with a nice dummy before beating Adrian with a fine strike and earning a standing ovation from Sir. Alex Ferguson.
United were in firm control of proceedings and were set for another win and put the result beyond doubt as substitute Ashley Young curled a beautiful ball into the top right corner with his first touch of the game and his first league goal in 18 months.
A good spell of possession saw the Hammers pull one back as Carlton Cole escaped the offside trap and endured a brilliant run to beat De Gea and score his first away goal in two years. The goal proved little though as United saw out the game and return to winning ways
Welbeck first Old Trafford goal in 14 months, Januzaj first Old Trafford goal, Young's first league goal in 18 months and Cole's first away goal in 2 years. Wow!
