Drogba and Eboue pardoned for Mandela tribute

The Galatasaray and Ivory Coast internationals will not face disciplinary action for paying tribute to late former South African president Nelson Mandela after their league game against Elazigspor.

The duo reveled shirts saying "Thank You, Madiba" after the match but did so without the permission of the League hierarchy.

The statement from the Super Lig governing body read, "The supposed breach of the rules has not actually happened, so there is no need for any action."
