Celtic torn apart by Neymar and Co.

The boy from Brazil finally came alive in the Champions League on Wednesday night as he announced himself in the elite competition with a hat trick against the Scottish champions.

Barcelona headed into the game needing a point to top the group while Celtic were already out of the competition and had nothing but pride to play for.

It would always be a tough task to do at the Nou Camp though as the Scottish side conceded the first goal as early as the 7th minute of the game as a slip up by Ambrose allows Sanchez to take a shot at Foster who parried the ball into the part of Pique with the defender wasting no time to smash it into the net for the first goal

The Catalan team kept the ball and pressed the Celtic players high up the pitch and were duly rewarded with their second goal of the game in the 39th minute from Pedro after Neymar does well to shake off Ambrose and square it in the part of Pedro who tucked it into the net.

The Brazilian was the next to score and he put is team 3 goals to the good with his first Champions League goal after he was fed by Montoya for a brilliant team goal right before the halftime whistle.

Neymar grabbed his second for the night right after the kick off of the second half after trading passes with Xavi to score a beautiful goal from the edge of the area.

The new kid wasn't done yet as he completed the script with his third for the night after leaving Ambrose for dead with a wonderful footwork and shots past Foster with Matthews deflecting the ball in for Neymar's first Barcelona hat trick.

Neymar kept the momentum going but it was second half subtitle, Christian Tello that added insult to injury handing Barca their sixth for the night after his effort took a deflection fromVan Dijk past Foster.

Barcelona could have added more goals but they slowed down the tempo and The Bhoys got a consolation through Samaras in the 88th minute to add spice to what is the biggest defeat in their European Cup history.
